Terms of Use

These terms govern use of shortlistaio.com (the "Site"), operated by Shortlist aio Ltd. (formerly Glass House Gardens Inc.), a Manitoba, Canada corporation. By using the Site you accept them. Services purchased from us are governed by a separate Master Services Agreement, not by these terms.

1. Permitted use

You may use the Site for lawful purposes. You may not: interfere with or disrupt it; attempt unauthorised access to it or to any related system; scrape or harvest it by automated means except as permitted by our robots.txt; or use it to send unsolicited communications.

2. Free reports and sample analyses

We may provide a free visibility report or sample analysis. These are provided "as is", for information only, and without warranty.

Any such report:

• measures a sample of prompts at a point in time, and answer engines are non-deterministic, so a repeat measurement will differ;
• reflects third-party systems we do not control and which change without notice;
• is not advice — commercial, legal, or otherwise — and must not be relied on as the sole basis for a decision;
• carries no guarantee of any outcome, and none is implied by any figure in it.

We may decline to provide a report, or withdraw one, for any reason.

3. Published research

We publish aggregated research about answer-engine behaviour. It is offered in good faith and describes what we measured, with our method stated. It is not a representation about any particular company's present or future results, and figures may be superseded.

4. Intellectual property

The Site and its contents are owned by us or our licensors. You may quote or cite our published research with attribution and a link. You may not otherwise reproduce, republish, or create derivative works from the Site without our written permission.

Third-party names and marks are the property of their owners and are used for identification only. Their appearance does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from those owners.

5. Third-party links

Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.

6. Disclaimer and liability

6.1 The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all warranties, express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty of accuracy or uninterrupted availability.

6.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data, arising from your use of the Site.

6.3 Our total aggregate liability arising from the Site is limited to [CAD $100].

6.4 Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited at law, including for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these terms.

8. Changes

We may change these terms by posting an updated version with a new effective date. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Manitoba, subject to any mandatory consumer protection right you have in your place of residence.
